I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
AL Language
Created by the Dynamics 365 Business Central development team, AL Language is the official Visual Studio Code extension for developing apps for small, single-tenant personalization's and complex add-on vertical solutions that are deployed through the online Dynamics 365 Business Central AppSource marketplace.
It can be deployed in two different ways:
- Directly, as a downloadable package from the Visual Studio Code marketplace.
- Manually, as an installable package (.vsix):
- The installable package is dispatched when creating a Docker-contained sandbox from the official Dynamics 365 Business Central image.
- Downloaded from Dynamics 365 Business Central on-premises DVD.
