So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Platform
Platform represents the results of the final compilation of the Dynamics 365 Business Central platform components (client, server, web server, and so on).
It is shown with the same notation as the application. Application and platform builds typically have a different build number, since platform code changes and application code changes are following different compilation paths and are merged together in the end.
When targeting a platform development, you must be aware of the minimum requirement that files and APIs should have to make use of the features, properties, and functions that they expose in order to avoid unpredictable behaviors from the application.
