I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Choosing the right image
Now that you know how to create and run your sandboxes, the only question is which version you want to use; making this decision may be quite complex. The basics for making a viable decision on that topic will be summarized in this section.
Officially, publicly released versions are always available on the registry (mcr.microsoft.com) with the following repositories and image names:
- mcr.microsoft.com/businesscentral/sandbox: The sandbox image of the SaaS version of Dynamics 365 Business Central
- mcr.microsoft.com/businesscentral/onprem: The on-premise version of Dynamics 365 Business Central
- mcr.microsoft.com/dynamicsnav: The old Dynamics NAV product, starting from Dynamics NAV 2016
