So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preparing for transition and interoperability
The easiest deployments are when Exchange is installed for the first time. If you’re offering external access to clients via Exchange 2003 BE servers or Exchange 2007 CAS servers, you will have to plan the transition of this service to Exchange 2010. It’s difficult to dictate an exact recipe for deployment in projects where legacy FE or CAS servers operate. Basic guidelines can be given, but these have to be adjusted in line with details such as the number of legacy servers, their function (internal, external), the number of sites, the speed of the Exchange 2010 deployment, the time when legacy servers can be decommissioned, and so on.
