Chapter 25. Performing administrative tasks

Reporting Services provides three tools for managing your report server: SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), a web application interface (Report Manager or a Microsoft SharePoint site), and Reporting Services Configuration Manager for a native-mode report server or SharePoint Central Administration for an integrated-mode report server. In most cases, there is no overlap in functionality between the tools. We introduce Reporting Services Configuration Manager and SharePoint Central Administration in Chapter 4, for the initial set up of the report server.
