Chapter 28. Data alerting

In Chapter 27, you learned about the options you have for scheduling the execution of a report, with the option to email the report each time the schedule runs. However, you might prefer to limit the email delivery of a report. Rather than receive a report every Monday morning, which you must then review to determine whether a condition in the report requires you to take action, you can set up a data alert to send an email notification only when that condition is true, as long as you are running a report server in SharePoint integrated mode.
