I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How do you charge a band?
Q: IN THE STARTING DAYS, OR EVEN NOW, HOW DO YOU CHARGE A BAND? SAY IF THEY WANT TO SHOOT AT ONE INDOOR AND ONE OUTDOOR LOCATION? DO YOU SHOOT ACCORDING TO NUMBER OF PICTURES? NUMBER OF LOCATIONS? PICTURES BEING USED BY THEM? WHAT ALL DO YOU KEEP IN MIND?
A: It’s impossible for me to tell you, in black and white terms, how to charge a band. What I can do is share my story of working with bands and how I came up with pricing. You can read this and then sort of figure out how much of it would work for you and what would not work for you.
