The Catch 22. Job or jump?
Q: I AM THE SOLE PROVIDER FOR MY WIFE AND SON, AND I AM BALANCING THE 8–5 GRIND, FAMILY TIME, AND FREELANCING FOR A LOCAL NEWSPAPER ALONG WITH MY OWN PHOTO AND VIDEO WORK. I AM ABOUT TO GO INSANE. I AM CAUGHT IN A CATCH-22 LOOP OF WORKING TOO MUCH TO HAVE TIME TO PROMOTE MY PHOTOGRAPHY BIZ. I STAY UP UNTIL 2 A.M. GETTING WHATEVER EDITING/MARKETING/ETC. I CAN GET DONE, AND THEN THE ALARM IS GOING OFF AT 7 A.M. I WANT TO GO FULL TIME PHOTO BUT I DON’T SEE A JUMPING OFF POINT ANYWHERE IN SIGHT.
