Q: I WANT TO MAKE THE JUMP FROM JUST WEDDINGS TO SHOOTING MORE EDITORIALS FOR MAGAZINES AND, HOPEFULLY ONE DAY, CAMPAIGNS FOR COMPANIES. I HAVE A FEW FRIENDS WHO DO THIS AND THEY TOLD ME IT’S JUST ABOUT DOING THE PROJECTS ON MY OWN AND THEN BEING IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME TO GET OPPORTUNITIES. I’VE BEEN FRUSTRATED FEELING LIKE NO ONE WILL GIVE ME A CHANCE. HOW DO I GET MY FOOT IN THE DOOR? DO I PITCH MYSELF TO REPRESENTATION? DO THEY FIND ME? DO I WAIT? I’M FEELING A BIT LOST.
