HOW DO YOU EFFECTIVELY ASSESS a job candidate? Do you conduct a couple of interviews? Call a reference or two? Do you even have a consistent and documented assessment process?

If you’re just looking for a warm body, then do a pulse check, and if you feel something, give the person the job.
