APPENDIXSeven Steps to Creating a Top Performing Coaching Culture
What follows is the leaders' outline to successfully roll out coaching to their team or their company. It also contains the essential conversations for introducing the different components of coaching to your team. You'll find this outline goes hand in hand with Chapter 7, as it contains all of the templates and coaching tracks you'll be using throughout this implementation.
While some managers may read through this and find this timeline to be aggressive, others would rather expedite the process. Much of this has to do with your current company culture, the relationship you already have with your team, how effective and consistent your coaching has been to date, and the size of your team.
- 1. Week one: Send a coaching enrollment email.
I'd suggest sending a brief, preliminary email preparing for the meeting, establishing the topic, and outlining what's in it for them. See Chapter 7 for the template you can use.
- 2. Week one: Schedule a team meeting for team enrollment in coaching.
Take a few minutes toward the end or beginning of a (positive) meeting and do a brief team enrollment. You can share your experience during my sales leadership coaching mastery course you participated in or what you've learned from this book. Use the team enrollment template in Chapter 7.
Let everyone know they will be receiving a meeting invite to discuss this individually to set individual expectations and alignment around coaching ...
