It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

CONCLUSIONS REGARDING THE TECH BATTLE TECHNIQUE
The Tech Battle is an example of an innovation analysis method designed
using the three core approaches covered in the book: the system model, mul-
tilevel thinking, and S-curve analysis.
The rst purpose of the technique is to separate hype and popular mis-
conceptions from reality by elevating the focus of our attention above the
solutions’ specic features and considering how they t into the existing or
emerging systems. Another purpose is to discover opportunities for short-
and long-term innovation by identifying new possible system congura-
