Although the XSL Formatting Objects are part of the XSL Recommendation, we've treated them separately because most developers deal with XSL-FO separately from other aspects of style sheet authoring. XSL-FO is currently being implemented in many tools, so the resources available to learn about XSL-FO are certain to increase. In the meantime, here are some resources to consult for XSL-FO information:
