Semantics of Human Languages

Probably the best way to teach a computer to comprehend knowledge is to copy and adopt algorithms that are programmed in a human brain. Unfortunately, we cannot connect our brains to an Ethernet network and download the software to a computer.

However, science is able to give answers to difficult questions even if only indirect data or facts are available. Linguists can say a lot about the mechanisms of human comprehension by comparing different human languages.

For instance, despite the huge differences between the English and Russian languages, they are absolutely the same in the sense of using nouns, verbs, pronouns, adjectives, and so on to describe different kinds of entities, relations, and properties.
