The Metainformation Module

The Metainformation module is a single module that contains information about a SMIL resource.

The meta element is an empty element. A single meta element specifies a name/value pair. Each meta element has a name attribute and a content attribute that provides the name/value pair for that element. In the earlier examples in this chapter, you saw how the meta element can be used.

The metadata element can also contain metadata about a SMIL document. Typically, the child elements of a metadata element would be from the Resource Description Framework (RDF).
