In our youth, we received lots of feedback from our parents, teachers, coaches, and other influential figures, such as grandparents and religious instructors. Some of the feedback was positive, and some was critical, but hopefully all was given in support of helping us grow and develop. Unfortunately, as we enter the workforce, the likelihood of receiving such constructive feedback diminishes dramatically.
