It is actually quite astonishing how inconsiderate team members are to one another, although, sadly, it is probably a reflection of society. When people are treated inconsiderately, they feel disrespected, and they become angry, hurt, disappointed, and disengaged. In contrast, when team members treat one another with consideration, it demonstrates that they care for one another as human beings—over and above their working relationships. When people feel as though others are concerned about them and their welfare they feel respected, and they engage. Simple stuff isn’t it?
