14. SPEEDLIGHT: CRAFT PAPER SNOOT
SNOOTS COLLIMATE LIGHT to produce a highly directional, crisp light. They are generally used in the studio and serve as hairlights or as a way to add a very hard edge to your portraiture.
Snoots are also designed to keep light from spilling out onto other areas of the scene. This project uses craft paper and tape to produce a very useful lighting tool.
