47. CARDBOARD GOBOS

THE TERM “GOBO” stands for “go-between.” Gobos are used in the film industry and the photography industry to go between a light source and the wall in order to produce specific shapes. You can spend a lot of money on commercial products, or you can create your own with cardboard

For your light source, you can use utility lights or your own small flashes. For the images in this example, I used a Nikon flash with a beer-cozy snoot (project 14).
