When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Focusing In the Dark
Focusing in the dark can be a bit of a challenge. The camera’s autofocus function needs a certain amount of light to gain focus. Situations dark enough for light painting rarely provide enough light for the Autofocus to function properly, and if the camera can’t focus, it usually won’t let you trigger the shutter. Here are a few tips to help you autofocus in the dark.
1. Find the part of the scene you would like to focus on.
2. Manually move your autofocus point over that area in your viewfinder
3. Use a high power flashlight to illuminate that area of the scene while you focus the camera.
