I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Beam Width
Controlling the width of the beam will enable you to sculpt a subject with the light. Painting with a broad beam will create very even coverage across the subject. While this is necessary for some subjects, at times you’ll want to narrow down the beam to highlight certain areas. A snoot or grid helps shrink the width of the beam. Remember the longer the beam stays on a subject, the lighter it becomes. The closer you are to the subject the lighter it becomes.
