The Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), which started in 1986, is an integrated site promoting foreign trade. Jointly sponsored by the government and industrial (as well as commercial) associations, it assists domestic businesses and manufacturers in reinforcing their international competitiveness and coping with the challenges they face in the foreign markets.
