After you have a plan in place, the next step is to create the content for visual social marketing. Before diving into the technical aspects of using tools to create images (which I cover in Chapter 5), I show you where to look for images and videos and how to build a content library, and I explain creative ways in which businesses are creating visuals.

When you contemplate how to acquire visual assets, creating them yourself isn't the only option — you can instead borrow a number of creative strategies that other businesses are using with employees and customers to help build their inventories of visual assets. In addition, you can hire professional photographers or purchase images from photography websites.
