Windows 11 comes with slightly fewer preinstalled apps than Windows 10. Initially, you may think otherwise because when you open the Start menu, you see shortcuts to several apps promoted by Microsoft. However, most are not preinstalled. They get installed only after you click or tap their shortcuts. If you remove their shortcuts, these apps will never get on your PC.
