Windows 11 has more settings than previous consumer operating systems from Microsoft, and that’s to be expected since it has even more features than its predecessors. Most settings are found in the new Settings app, which is well organized and surprisingly easy to navigate.
However, the old Control Panel, the bastion of Windows settings, still controls many aspects of how a Windows 11 PC works. While the Settings app controls several hundred settings, the Control Panel has a smaller yet still large enough number of Windows settings.
