So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Transcoding
Similar to the transcoding done with BitmapDecoder and BitmapEncoder in Chapter 11, the Windows Media API enables some simple transcoding options for audio/video files. This is exposed via a single MediaTranscoder class. With it, you can do four basic tasks:
Change the encoding quality
Change the media format
Trim the media
Add effects ...
