Theme Animations
Unlike theme transitions, which represent specific animations for specific actions, theme animations are specific animations for custom actions. Although their visual details are predetermined, you get to decide when to trigger them. There are 14 of them, but before describing them, we need to look at the storyboard mechanism that enables them to run. Although theme animations are specific to Windows Store and universal apps, the storyboard mechanism applies to all XAML-based UI frameworks.
