If a Visual Basic application were simply composed of controls that you place on a form with characteristics that you set from the Properties window, Visual Basic programming would be easy. However, Visual Basic programming is more than controls placed on a form. As a matter of fact, the placement and setting of control properties are among the easiest aspects of Visual Basic programming. Through its graphical development environment, Visual Basic allows you to produce output from your application easily. Your Form window becomes your program's output because that is the window your user sees when he runs your program.
