16.10.4 Semi-Averages Method
In the semi-averages method, data are divided into two equal parts with respect to time. For
example, consider a time series i, given from 1991–2000, that is, time is given over a period of 10
years. Then, the two equal parts of the data will be the time period from 1991–1995 and the time
period from 1996–2000. If the time units in a time series are odd, then two equal parts would be
