5.6 TYPES OF PROBABILITY
For understanding the concept of probability, it is always essential to understand some important
types of probability. In this section, we discuss the four important types of probability. These are:
(1) marginal probability, (2) union probability, (3) joint probability, and (4) conditional proba-
bility (see Figure 5.8).
5.6.1 Marginal Probability
