So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Running the product service on PCF Dev
Let's create a simplified version of the product service that just connects to a MySQL service that we created earlier to run queries.
You can write the practice code from Chapter 3, Designing Your Cloud-Native Application or download the file from Git to your Eclipse environment. The artifacts worth noting are:

- Note that, in the following screenshot, we have renamed our artifact to pcf-product.
- A new dependency worth noting is the spring-cloud-cloudfoundry-connector. This discovers the services bound to the Cloud Foundry application, such as MySQL configuration, and uses them.
