It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The product-search service
Let's create a new microservice that specializes in high speed, high volume searches. The search data store backing the search microservice need not be a master of the product data, but can act as a complementary search model. Elasticsearch has been extremely popular for a variety of search use cases and fits the need for extreme search requirements.
