It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Core product service on a document database
Keeping the REST interface the same, let's change the internal implementation from using a relational database (HSQLDB, in our example) to MongoDB. Instead of running MongoDB in a process such as HSQLDB, we will run it separately as a server.
