I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Requirements/user stories
It is important to know the problem statement being solved before starting any coding or design. Agile development methodology recommends breaking the overall project into modules and services, and then implementing a few features at a time as user stories. The idea is to get a minimally viable product (MVP) and then keep adding features.
The problem we have taken to solve is an area of e-commerce. Due to online shopping, most of us are familiar with e-commerce as consumers. It is time to look under the hood.
The starting point is a product service that does the following:
- Returns details of a product given a product ID
- Gets a list of product IDs for a given product category
