So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Transform
These are the applications that have high technical value and high business value. This means the applications have a large user base, multiple releases, a large number of tickets, and high infrastructure support costs, but still provide a significant advantage to the business. These applications are where the effort needs to be put in, because they provide significant differentiators for the organization.
Using the preceding methodology, we can identify the applications that are ripe for transformation. For our example, we can take an existing Java/JEE application that is currently running on-premises and needs to be transformed for a distributed application design model.
