I'll wrap up this introduction to MSMQ programming with a look at the Visual Basic side of things (sort of inevitable, right?). Visual Basic went from the HAM radio operator's best friend to an application development platform used to construct mission-critical enterprise applications, and in a very short time. Perhaps the most compelling facet of the Visual Basic phenomenon is the fact that it's everywhere. VB can be found in client-side and server-side Web applications, in the macro languages of many programs (VBA), in standalone applications, and now in host scripts.
