This chapter takes a brief look at some outstanding monolithic voltage reference prod-
ucts from several leading U.S. manufacturers and how they can be applied. Some
helpful design examples are also shown. In many cases the design can be further
enhanced by using some of the techniques discussed in earlier chapters, such as fil-
tering, preregulating the power supplies, bypassing, using Kelvin connections, temper-
