Figure 15.3 shows an ADR525 shunt device supplying a precise 2.5-volt reference
voltage to an Analog Devices’ AD5337, a dual 8-bit, voltage-output DAC. The DAC is
available in an eight-lead MSOP surface-mount package, and has an operating tem-
perature range of –40°C to +105°C. It operates from low single 2.5-volt to 5.5-volt sup-
ply, and consumes 250 µA at a supply of 3 volts. The DAC’s output amplifiers feature
