It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit
The next step of environment configuration before installing ConfigMgr is the installation of special tool set:
- The Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit can be downloaded from the internet: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/windows-assessment-deployment-kit. The mentioned tool set needs to be installed before starting with the ConfigMgr installation.
Keep in mind that the version of ADK needs to be compatible with the ConfigMgr server. For ConfigMgr 1706, we need to choose the ADK in version 1703.
