So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Application Catalog
The Application Catalog tab keeps configurational information for an application when it is installed by Application Catalog. Here, the administrator can set the application name, keywords for easier searches, and links to the documentation, the manufacturer website, or the application icon:

Application Catalog distributes applications that are deployed for users as available applications, not mandatory ones. The deployment of mandatory applications is done by Software Center.
