The process of scanning for compliance
After synchronizing updates with the WSUS server, the ConfigMgr console provides information about these updates. At this point, the administrator can perform system scanning.

The process of system scanning is as follows:
- The client, according to the schedule, downloads a policy from the ConfigMgr server that specifies when the client needs to initiate system scan using Windows Update Agent.
- Operating system scan begins. Windows Update Agent communicates with the WSUS server, which is integrated with the ConfigMgr server and downloads data about available updates.
