11.1 Introduction
Chapter 9 presents an overview of a systematic design model for develop-
ing a training program. This model indicates that there should be a logical
ow to program design and incorporates four basic phases: a front-end
analysis phase, a design and development phase, a full-scale development
phase, and a nal evaluation phase. Implicit in this model is the incorpo-
ration of a user-centered design approach that involves usability testing
