posited, similar to Kraiger and colleagues, that there is little or no relation-
ship between reaction criteria and other levels of training such as learn-
ing. In other words satisfaction with a training program has very little
relationship to whether a person has learned something from training.
However, there is a positive relationship between learning and behavior
and between behavior and results (Figure11.1).
Clearly, the models discussed are highly similar and underscore the
complexity of the evaluation process and the fact the evaluation needs to
be multidimensional and target different aspects of the training program.
