This the second of three SDPM strategies where the Planning Phase focuses on projects for which the features are not completely known (Iterative SDPM strategy) or the features and functions are not completely known (Adaptive SDPM strategy) or the features, functions, and goal is not completely known (Extreme SDPM strategy). There are several approaches to these three situations. In this chapter we discuss the Planning Phase of two different adaptive models: Adaptive Project Framework and Adaptive Software Development.
