So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Exporting dashboards
Grafana makes it easy to export dashboards. To proceed, just open the dashboard you intend to export and press the small square with arrow icon in the top-right panel, near the floppy disk icon.
The following form will open:

Here, you're presented with several options:
- Export for sharing externally: Enables the templating of the data source names, which is helpful for sharing the dashboard publicly. This is mandatory in order to publish the dashboard on the grafana.com website.
- View JSON: Allows you to visualize the code of the dashboard.
- Save to file: Downloads the dashboard as ...
