So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Prometheus data model
As we have seen so far, Prometheus stores data as time series, which includes key/value pairs known as labels, a timestamp, and finally a value. The following topics will expand on these components and provide the basics for each one, which we will be utilizing in depth in Chapter 7, Prometheus Query Language - PromQL, dedicated to PromQL.
