So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Alertmanager
You can find the Alertmanager HTTP endpoint at http://192.168.42.12:9093.
We also configured an always-firing alert on Prometheus and a custom Alertmanager integration via webhook so that you can start to get a feel for how both are related. We'll go into much more detail on Alertmanager in a different chapter, but for now, you may look at the logs that the example alert generates in the code repository root at ./cache/alerting.log:
