Appendix E. Text-based Portal
installation on Solaris
We have introduced the installation and configuration for WebSphere Application
Server and WebSphere Portal in the previous chapters. Basically, those
introductions were based on the GUI (Graphical User Interface) environment. But
sometimes, especially in the UNIX environment, people use the UNIX machine
as a server. Therefore, they have no graphical terminal for the server in their
environment; they only have a text terminal.
