I.3 Configuring WebSphere Portal V5.0 for a remote
LDAP directory
In this section, we discuss the installation of the IBM Directory Server as our
LDAP directory.
I.3.1 Installation of IBM Directory Server V5.1
This section provides the steps to install IBM Directory Server V5.1 on a
Windows 2000 machine:
1. Insert CD 5- 1 into machine 4 and start the installation wizard by running
setup.exe from the ids_ismp directory.
2. Select the language and click Next.
3. Click Next in the Welcome window.
4. Select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click Next
