Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a low-power wireless connectivity technology used pervasively in technology from cell phones sensors, and keyboards to video game systems. The name Bluetooth refers to King Harald Blatand in the region of what is now Norway and Sweden in around 958AD. King Blatand got his name from his liking of blueberries and/or the eating of his frozen enemies. Regardless, Bluetooth is derived from his name because King Blatand brought together warring tribes, and the same could be said for the formation of the initial Bluetooth SIG. Even the Bluetooth logo is a combination of runes from an ancient Germanic alphabet used by the Danes.
